The family car Citroen C3 Picasso, which has been on the assembly line since 2008, underwent a small update in the fall of 2012, having celebrated its official premiere at the international show in Paris. The French decided to confine themselves to minor modifications, slightly tweaking the exterior of the compact van, making minor adjustments to the interior and expanding the list of available "goodies".
The restyling in the exterior of the Citroen C3 Picasso did not extol global changes, but the five-door began to look a little fresher due to the modern interpretation of the branded "chevron" and LED garlands of running lights integrated into the bumper under the foglights. From other angles, the machine repeats the pre-reform "brother".
In length, the updated version of the compact van is extended by 4101 mm, of which 2540 mm is occupied by the wheelbase, and it has 1730 mm and 1631 mm in width and height, respectively. Under the "belly" the car has a 147 mm ground clearance.
There are few innovations in the interior of the Citroen C3 Picasso - inside the restyled car stands out with a 7-inch monitor of the multimedia complex, "registered" in the center of the front panel, and made in a different design by the head unit of the audio system.
Otherwise, it copies the pre-reform version - both in terms of design and in terms of cargo and passenger capabilities.
Specifications. The engine range of the Citroen C3 Picasso has remained unchanged as a result of the update - in the Russian market, the car is available with atmospheric gasoline "fours" with distributed fuel injection, which, with a working volume of 1.4-1.6 liters, produce 95-115 horsepower and 136-160 Nm of torque.
They are installed in tandem with a 5-speed "mechanics", and the "senior" version also with a "robot" with six ranges.
Both dynamic characteristics and fuel efficiency indicators remained at the same level.
At the heart of the compact van is a front-wheel drive architecture called "PF1", equipped with independent MacPherson struts at the front and a semi-independent torsion beam at the rear.
The steering system is on a rack and pinion car with an electric booster, and disc brakes on each of the wheels with ABS and EBD.
Options and prices. In Russia, the official sales of the restyled Citroen C3 Picasso were curtailed in March 2016, but its deliveries were discontinued at the end of 2015.
In our country, until the last moment, this compact van was offered at a price of 660 thousand rubles, and in the initial version it was equipped with: six airbags, ABS, air conditioning, factory "music", fog lights, "cruise", front electric windows and other "gadgets" ".
