Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is a premium all-wheel drive mid-size SUV (but the most powerful and nimble in the family), which combines brutal design, high-quality interior and high-performance technology ... It is addressed primarily to wealthy men who want to get "Multifunctional, but fast car for every day", where you can "ride with the breeze" ...

For the first time, the Americans presented their "brainchild" in April 2017 (at the stands of the International New York Auto Show) - in comparison with the base model, they not only "refined" the design, but also thoroughly "pumped" the equipment (thanks to which this SUV is considered one of the most "Capable" representatives of their segment, regardless of size).

Externally, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk declares its "extreme essence" through a more developed aerodynamic body kit with extended air intakes in the front and a glossy black diffuser in the rear bumper, ventilation slots on the hood, a pair of "large-bore double-barreled" exhaust system and 20-inch wheels of the original design.

The "charged" SUV has the following dimensions: 4822 mm in length, 1724 mm in height and 1943 mm in width. The car has a 2,914 mm wheelbase between the front and rear axles, and under the bottom it has 205 mm ground clearance.

Inside, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk stands out from the base model with a modified logo steering wheel, aluminum and carbon fiber trim, and sporty front seats with high relief, upholstered in Nappa leather and ventilated.

Otherwise, it is the same SUV with an attractive and ergonomically thought-out interior, a five-seater layout and a trunk with a volume of 457 to 1554 liters.

The main feature of the "extreme" Grand Cherokee is a 6.2-liter Hemi V-shaped petrol V-8 with a screw compressor in the collapse of the block, distributed fuel injection, 16-valve timing and phase shifters at the inlet and outlet, developing 717 horsepower at 6000 rpm minute and 875 Nm of torque at 4800 rpm.

By default, the car is equipped with an 8-band "automatic" and an all-wheel drive transmission Quadra-Trac with an asymmetric cross-axle differential (under normal conditions, the thrust is divided between the axles in the ratio "40:60", but depending on the selected mode, the front wheels can be directed up to 60% of power, and to the rear - up to 70%) and the rear "self-blocking".

From zero to 100 km / h, the SUV "catapults" in just 3.7 seconds, and reaches a maximum speed of 290 km / h.

In the combined cycle, the movement of a five-door car consumes about 17.5 liters of fuel for every "hundred" kilometers.

From a constructive point of view, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk in many respects repeats the usual "relative" - it is built on the Mercedes-Benz M-class platform ("W164") with a monocoque body, independent double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspensions, as well as power steering.

However, already "in the base" this car relies on Bilstein adaptive shock absorbers and a powerful braking system with Brembo monoblock calipers (six-piston front and four-piston rear) and ventilated discs "in a circle" (diameter 400 mm and 350 mm, respectively).

In Russia, the cost of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk starts at 8,200,000 rubles (as of 2018).

The standard SUV has: seven airbags, dual-zone climate control, adaptive bi-xenon headlights, Selec-Trac driving mode change system, 20-inch forged wheels, leather interior, nine-speaker audio system, media center, heating, electric drive and front ventilation armchairs, heated rear sofa and the darkness of other equipment.
